Louis André Mourgues (la Crau Var 1886 Sainte-Maxime 1962) Settled in Sainte-Maxime as a painter in letters, he is passionate about oil painting and watercolor. He mainly produces canvases on Sainte-Maxime, Saint-Tropez and also seascapes. Academic Palms of Fine Arts in 1929 One of his paintings was selected to decorate the France ocean liner.
