The mask consists of two parts:At the top a circle symbolizing animal horns, it rests on a triangular base revealing three holes at face level for sight and breathing.
Slightly crusty patina with brown and ecru checkerboard decoration.
Black metal base.
Ivory Coast.
These masks have a protective and healing role in order to protect the harvests.
They embody wealth and fertility.
