Raw wood sculpture called "Yipwon", presented and sold mounted on a base. The Yipwon is one of the most stylized and symbolic objects of the Sepik River area. These sculptures are placed in the Haus Tambaran (men's house) and are closely linked to the warrior world. Its other name, wanleg (from the English "one leg") in pidgin English designates all the figures of this style that are found in the Korewori River region.
