Description
Beautiful, finely decorated blue painted chest. Its compact size makes it particularly versatile. The bottom, originally light blue, has oxidized over time, taking on shades of teal and petrol. All sides are decorated with flowers, fruit, colorful birds, including the lid on which there is also the date of production of the piece of furniture, 1835.

The photographs you see depict the piece of furniture not yet restored. The state of conservation is excellent.
The piece of furniture, at the time of sale, will be supplied completely restored. The customer will decide the degree of restoration desired.
Our laboratory guarantees conservative restoration for each piece of furniture while respecting its integrity.
Each piece of furniture is treated to ensure solidity and hygiene.
In particular, the following are performed:
- structural restoration
- careful anti-woodworm treatment
- cleaning and sanitization of the interior
- external finish with natural beeswax
- internal finish with shellac (natural alcohol-based varnish)
Upon request, we can agree on the desired level of restoration and the customization of the interior layout (clothes hanger poles, shelves, etc.).
