A pair of Arita chrysanthemum molded dishes. The centers are decorated with a blue and white landscape within a border of Ho-o birds in iron red, pink, and gilt. Japan, early 18th century.Diameter: 18.1 cm (7 1/8").
Condition: slight wear to the gilding, otherwise excellent.
