JAPAN - Meiji period (1868-1912). Oval, slightly domed jingasa in black lacquered wickerwork centered with the embossed mon of the HORI clan in matt gold lacquer (very slight restoration on the border). Simulated thehen no ana at the top. Red lacquered interior. Plum silk chin rest and yellow silk pads. Dimensions: 14 x 34 x 38 cm.
