Steel, marine ivory and gold damascene
Total length: 35 cm - Blade length: 24 cm - Width of blade back: 1cm
Strong single-edged blade in “wootz” damascus steel, with damascene decoration of flowers, birds and felines; it ends in a baluster-shaped forged ferrule with damascene decoration of flowers; the two-registered back has a median ridge and is also decorated with gold damascene.
The silk is engraved in intaglio with flowers and foliage, on which two marine ivory plates are riveted.
A forged steel ring is attached to the rivet button.
Very good condition.
