The French army had just upgraded the 1915 Adrian helmet to the 1926 model, which was more resistant and made in one piece with the addition of a crest and an attribute plate. Indeed, in 1931, Colonel Pouderoux, who commanded the Paris Firefighters Regiment (from 1925 to 1933), initiated a study in this direction conducted by the Bernard Franck et Fils company. It was the latter that supplied the 1895 model. Bernard Franck & Fils relies in large part on the study carried out for the army helmet in 1915 and offers a new model from January 1932, close to the Adrian helmet of the general army model and four times more resistant than the 1895 model. - This item is for immediate purchase, payable by Paypal, we also accept bank transfer or French check. - We refuse sales by telephone, the sale will be made only by Email or request via the Proantic messaging system. - We ensure careful shipping of our items, with insurance and tracking.
