"Paris 1712, Pair Of Candelabra Branches , Gilles Gouel (?), Sterling Silver"
Very rare pair of Louis XIV period double candelabra branches in sterling silver. In very good condition, they can easily be adapted to a pair of candlesticks from the same period. They are of very good quality of execution and quite heavy for their size. In several places, we find the hallmarks of Paris for the year 1712. We also find the hallmark of the master goldsmith containing two Gs surmounted by a daisy in turn surmounted by a crowned fleur-de-lis flanked by two grains. Weight 800 grams.
