Leitchie, sculpture signed Volti, edition 3/6. Cast by Susse. Antoniucci Volti, born Voltigerno (1915-1989) is a French sculptor, designer and lithographer of Italian origin. At the age of 16 he received the gold medal at the Marseille fair, enrolled at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-arts in Paris and then won the second grand prix de Rome in 1936 with "martyrdom of the Christians". His sculpture of figurative tradition is in line with Aristide Maillol. His Mediterranean art is considered the heir to a heritage where the sensual and the spiritual merge into timeless perfection.
