Stained glass window composed of two scenes. The first is the assumption of Saint Mary. She is represented standing, in a golden halo, accompanied by four angels. Below, a crucifixion is represented. Jesus is on the cross, he is surrounded by Saint John and his mother, Saint Mary. The whole is in a decoration of colorful foliage and flowers, typical of the 19th century.
The stained glass window is signed at the bottom “L. Balmet, glass painter in Grenoble”. Louis Balmet (1886-1957) is a master glassmaker from Grenoble active throughout the first half of the 20th century.
