"An Okimono Depicting A Sumo Wrestler, Signed Miyao"
An okimono made of wood, ivory, mother-of-pearl and gold lacquer, which finishes a sumo wrestler with a large sake bowl. The kimono is decorated with pearl shibayama inlays.
Signed Miyao the entire inside of the riser is rectangular in mother-of-pearl.
Period: Meiji late 19th century.
Dimensions: 24 x 23 x 15 cm.
Condition: Current. Its natural thread is present and the arm is already ready.
