Jean Laudy (1877- 1956) was born in Venlo Netherlands and died in Brussels.
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and Brussels and was a pupil of Verheyden from
1894 to 1895. He was a member of the studio 'La Patte de Dindon' and the 'L'Effort' studio.
Then he was a member of the prestigious Royal Academy of Belgium.
Today his works can be found in museums in Brussels, Ixelles, Mons, Saint-Josse-ten Noode and Saint-Nicholas.
The antique frame and oil painting are carefully and professionally restored.
