"2 Pewter Bedpans, Circa 1800-1820"
Collection of two pewter bedpans or urinals, datable around 1800-1820: -A large bedpan, round shape with very wide flat edges. Without hallmark, around 1800. 32cm in diameter, 17.5cm in interior diameter and 43.5cm in length (A very similar example is illustrated in "Etains médicaux et pharmaceutiques" by Bidault and Lepart, page 28) -A bedpan, round shape with round edges with attachments for cushion. Without hallmark, early 19th century. 28cm in diameter, 18.5cm in interior diameter and 43cm in length (A example with attachment system also in Bidault and Lepart, page 29). Good general condition, and signs of use.
