Object description :

"Hunting Set"
This hunting set is of a typical style of the first half of the 19th century, although its manufacture is more recent, since the blade of the knife and the teeth of the fork in "stainless" steel place us around 1915, after the marketing of these industrially produced steels had very quickly invaded cutlery. The knife has a single-edged blade, marked "PASQUET PARIS" and stainless steel. The handle is a beautiful solid deer antler. Two small chips at the crown.
The fork has 3 teeth, according to the custom of the 19th century, it is solid and intended to be firmly planted in a piece of game. The handle is like that of the knife made of solid deer antler.
The Scabbard: it is made of wood covered with leather embossed with a scattering of flower patterns. Brass chape and mouth, the edge of which is cut in the shape of braces, according to the fashion that came from the end of the 18th century and which was in use throughout the first half of the 19th century.
The object is nice, and should please any hunting enthusiast
