"Jacques Innocenti studied at the Ecole nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris, graduating in 1948.
In 1949, he moved to Vallauris as a pottery ceramist and began working in the early 1950s at the Grand Chêne pottery.
He participated from 1953 to 1957 in the exhibitions of the Nérolium in Vallauris. In 1953, he exhibited at Le Havre and in 1955 at the Triennale of Milan, at the D-K Salon of Decorative Arts in Caracas and at the International Ceramic Exhibition of Cannes, where he received a silver medal. His sudden disappearance in 1958 gives his work a mythical dimension."
