"19th Century Teapot And Sugar Bowl In Silver "
Orientalist-shaped teapot and sugar bowl in silver created by Jean Baptiste Harleux.
The teapot on a pedestal with a net model is richly decorated on its belly with a cartouche in a monogrammed plant entourage. The neck is surrounded by a ring with a net model that connects the handle with an embrace. This handle with its net model is provided with two ivory insulators and also ends with an embrace. This net model is repeated on the spout decorated on the bottom with flowers and leaves. It closes with a lid whose fretel presents an artichoke.
The sugar bowl on a pedestal with a net model is decorated on its belly with a monogrammed shield surrounded by ribbons, flowers and leaves. This body is connected by 2 handles and has a lid topped with a fretel in the shape of a rose. It has a slight depression at the level of the engraving.
