Description
Particular brick red painted chest dated 1849. On the front, sides and lid there are panels with small bunches of flowers; on all sides of the cabinet, just above the lower frame, there is a band with floral decorations.
Original lock, key, blades and side handles (to facilitate transport).
Internally it still retains the small compartment with a flap door.
Restoration information:
The photographs you see depict the cabinet not yet restored. The state of conservation is excellent.
The cabinet, at the time of sale, will be supplied completely restored. The customer will decide the desired level of restoration. Our laboratory guarantees conservative restoration for each piece of furniture while respecting its integrity.
Each piece of furniture is treated to ensure solidity and hygiene.
In particular, the following are carried out:
– structural restoration
– careful anti-woodworm treatment
– cleaning and sanitization of the interior
– external finish with natural beeswax
– internal finish with shellac (natural alcohol-based varnish)
Upon request, we can agree on the desired level of restoration and the customization of the interior layout (clothes hanger poles, shelves, etc.).
