Decorative Dish, Limoges Porcelain, Oven Blue, Gold Inlay, Hand Painted Fruit Decor

Sumptuous decorative dish in Limoges enameled porcelain with polychrome and gold decoration. The center of each dish represents a magnificent decoration of different fruits entirely hand-painted. The curved part connecting the basin to the wing is entirely decorated with a large frieze in polished gold agate inlay. The wing has a magnificent decoration of leafy scrolls made in relief with gold paste on a blue oven background. The edge of each plate is scalloped and decorated all around with a circular frieze in gold inlay. This remarkable work comes to us from the Paul Pastaud workshops, located at 14-16-18- rue de Noriac in Limoges. Our porcelain bears the workshop mark on its reverse. The decorator's signature is present at the bottom of the decoration.
