Napoleon III coffee table. The four tapered legs in solid walnut are joined by an X-shaped spacer. The belt has a floral marquetry decoration. The top is entirely marquetry with floral motifs in native wood. The top opens with a lock and its key revealing an interior in cloisonné work veneered with maple burl. Very good condition, no restoration! The lock works. 19th century
