The work that we are offering you today (another by the same artist is for sale through another ad) represents four sailors leaning on and or leaning on the counter drinking more than enough, a charming blonde waitress displays a little smirk and seems to be enjoying the scene, in the foreground on the left a funny little dog also seems to be amused by these noisy sailors.
The artist's signature is located at the bottom right, his monogram To is located at the bottom right intersected with a naval anchor.

This gouache is in good condition, it is only worth noting a few slight marginal creases and the start of a reinforced tear on the reverse 'just located just above the V formed bythe waitress hairstyle.
