The sides are painted in faux wood. The cornice imitates marble.
A scalloped crosspiece connects the front legs.
A large frieze under the cornice is decorated with flowers, letters that could evoke the initials of the family and a date 1859.
The floral decorations, geometric ornaments and colors are characteristic of Alpine folk art furniture.
Inside it is fitted with a wooden bar to serve as a wardrobe as well as two shelves from a later period.
