Emile Charles Bernard Wessbecher, large group in turquoise enameled ceramic, early 20th century Émile-Charles-Bernard Wessbecher, known as Émile-Bernard Donatien, EB Donatien or simply Donatien, is a French actor, director, producer, screenwriter, decorative artist, painter and ceramist, born June 20, 1887 in Paris and died November 8, 1955 in Appoigny in the Yonne. Group in turquoise enameled terracotta representing a dignitary sitting on an elephant as well as a second character (smaller). The base was glued back together formerly but the whole remains in very good condition. The base is pierced on the back as well as on the back of the dignitary (planned passage for electricity?) The base is signed with the artist's stamp. Dimensions: H 70 x 40 x 30 cm
