Very decorative monstrance - reliquary in carved wood, painted in blue-green (fake marble) with rocaille decoration, acanthus leaves, flowers, In the middle of the upper part: silk sachet (6 cm width) hiding a relic ( "ex Ossibus" ) of the Saint Boni Martyr (S.Boni mart.) attached on a reddish background. It should be Saint Boniface (Bonifatius), Anglo-Saxon monk, missionary and at the end of his life: Archbishop, who had found his martyrdom 754 or 755. On the reverse: Episcopal seals in red wax.
