Follini Carlo (Domodossola, 1848 - Pegli, 1938)
He was a pupil of Fontanesi at the Accademia Albertina. He was a highly successful landscape painter who exhibited in Italy and abroad. He studied accountancy in Turin, but at the age of 24 he chose to study painting at the Accademia Albertina, then under the guidance of Antonio Fontanesi.He is said to have been one of Fontanesi's most valued pupils, for his sprezzatura and the strength and energy of his color in his studies from nature.
