"19th Century Gold Silver Diamond Rococo-baroque Brooch"
This charming antique brooch represents a baroque style shield motif, centered on an openwork lattice.It is entirely set in silver with rose-cut diamonds (about 70!) and 6 old-cut diamonds.
The setting, back and pin are in gold, eagle's head hallmark on the pin.
Lever safety clasp perfectly functional with protection system against punctures.
No missing parts, pretty old patina. On the gold back: very neat hand-set stones with engraved details.
Excellent condition, 19th century period around 1880.
