Soft porcelain bowl with polychrome decoration of natural flowers and gold highlights. Sèvres mark, letter-date T (1773) in blue on glaze. Below, painter's mark GR for Léopold Weydinger père (1730-1807).
Losses to the gilding, scratches from use, one restoration. This bowl can be attached to a service preserved by the Louvre Museum (TH 809 to TH 1066), bequest of Madame Élise Dosne-Thiers, wife of Adolphe Thiers. Within this service, two sets are signed by the same painter: a set of butter dishes (TH 881) and a set of juice pots (TH 925).
