Reliquary in embossed brass, gilded with Louis XVI style decoration: scrolls, foliage, fleur-de-lis and laces, openwork. The frame of the capsule-reliquary is surrounded by transparent diamond-shaped glass cabochons and other red and green glass beads. In the middle of the frame (4.5 x 4 cm) is a small fragment of ashes (relic) attributed to the Saint / Martyr Pope Marcellin, who died in 304. Red wax seal on the reverse. Manufactured in Italy at the end of the 19th century. Good condition.
