Very Rare Pewter Wine Pitcher From Apt (vaucluse, Lubéron) - 18th Century

Pewter PITCHER, with shoulder, flared foot, straight heel cup and thumb with tassels, decorated with grooves and rods.
Unidentified master's mark: sword scabbard / CT
Height: 22.2 cm.
APT, 18th century

Exceptional provenance, the only example encountered in nearly 50 years of frequenting pewter.
In good condition, two impacts on the belly and a refilling at the bottom are however reported
The hallmark, very legible, borrows the furniture of the city's arms which are: "Gules, with a gold sword placed in pale in its sable scabbard, buckled with gold, the bouterolle of the same".
