Superb sculpture by the famous sculptor. He studied at the Antwerp academy. He studied and worked in Paris from 1879 to the end of 1881. Then he left for Italy from 1882 to 1883. The patina of this bronze is very beautiful. The sculpture can be dated to the end of the 19th century. This sculpture is a reduction of the Brabo fountain which represents the emblem of the city of Antwerp.
