Covered water pot and oval basin in soft porcelain from the Duke of Angoulême factory in Paris, 18th century, French work circa 1770-1780 The Duke of Angoulême porcelain factory was one of the most important factories of the 18th century. 'Turned water' pot, first size, painted with sprigs of scattered flowers in grisaille enhanced with gold. Under the base, the signature of the factory is affixed in red. The lid is hinged by a mount probably in silver gilt. Dimensions of the pot 20.5 x 15 x 13 cm. Dimensions of the basin 26 x 21 x 6 cm
