"Louis XV Style Table Mirror."
Louis XV style dressing mirror and/or wall mirror. Late 19th century. It is composed of a gilded bronze frame and a beveled glass or "mirror". The frame is decorated in the upper part with a radiated child's mask and in the lower part with a fancy mask or mascaron perhaps in the image of Bacchus. The sides are decorated with foliage scrolls and acanthus leaves. The mirror rests on 2 small feet, one leg at the back to be placed, and a ring to be hung. Discreet gilding on the front (wear). Very good condition.
