Beautiful and rare vase with pheasants painted by the hand of Paul Nicolas (1875-1952). A real collector's item for this vase finely hand-enameled by the glass artist himself, at the end of his life. There are very few examples of these pieces. We know more about his engraving work on the Saint-Louis pieces (signature of Argental). A friend of Emile Gallé, he produced pieces with great fineness of engraving. We find a very similar piece exhibited at the Musée d'Orsay (see last photo) Vase signed "Paul Nicolas Nancy" in red enamel, I obviously guarantee the authenticity. 17 cm high, around 1945-1952. A real collector's item, rare. Made by the artist's hand!!!!
