Large Napoleon III Planter In Blackened Wood And Marquetry, 19th Century

Large Napoleon III planter in blackened wood with mother-of-pearl inlay, brass threads and pear wood.
Curved on all sides, it rests on four bronze rocaille feet decorated with chimera heads.
The top is decorated with an openwork chiseled bronze gallery.
Pearl friezes on the lower belt and chiseled bronze friezes on the top.
Its interior is composed of an original waterproof zinc tub.
Rocaille handles on each side in bronze.
Very good quality planter and in very good condition.
