"A Rectangular Gold Snuffbox, Restoration Period"
A rectangular snuffbox with rounded edges in chased gold. The hinged lid and base are decorated with ring lozenges connected to each other by crosses. The body is covered with a frieze of leaf and fruit scrolls as well as flower cups. Gold hallmark: bull facing left with the number 3 for Paris 1819-1838. Gold hallmark: head of Sardanapalus facing left in an oval for Paris 1819-1838.
