JAPAN - Edo period (1603-1868). EBOSHI KABUTO of samurai in wrought iron lacquered shiny black. Large SHIKORO (neck cover) with two degrees in matt black lacquered iron and blue and orange silk braid (very slight wear). FUKIGAESHI (fins) in matt black lacquered iron on the obverse, red on the reverse, belted with copper and decorated with woven silk with stylized floral pattern and green and orange silk braid (wear). Important MAETATE in cut, openwork and gilded copper with ideogram decoration. Dimensions: 60 x 38 x 32 cm. Sold with the base Dimensions with the base: 38.5 x 38 x 32 cm.
