Object description :

""la Cle Des Champs" Illustrated By Francoise Faonnet - Published 1965 - By The "h" House In Paris"
"La clé des Champs", illustrated by Francoise Faconnet published in 1965, republished in 1990, and 1995, this rare and sought-after scarf dating from 1965, is available on a pale yellow background with deeper yellow borders tending towards lime yellow. In this square of damask silk twill with hand-rolled edges, a multitude of wrens, goldfinches, titmice and other colorful birds frolic in an interlacing of garlands and branches in shades of yellow, orange, green, pink... The title is integrated into the decoration as is often the case in Hermès squares, and at the bottom center. The name of the illustrator is found at the bottom right. This rare scarf does not bear a copyright, this having only been affixed from 1967 on Hermès squares. No holes or stains in very good condition of conservation and use, both in terms of the damask silk and the colors which are still very beautiful and well saturated. Note a few practically invisible pulled threads (see photos) which do not deteriorate the whole of this beautiful 59-year-old square. The price takes into account these imperfections from the past. Dimensions: 89.5 x 85 cm Beautiful condition of conservation, origin and use, see details in the photos.
