Object description :

"Pair Of 18th Century Silver Plated Bronze Candlesticks. "
The flutes of the barrels are twisted which gives a beautiful elegance to this pair of candlesticks. They are in cast and silvered bronze. The finishes are of good quality, on the outside we can hardly distinguish the casting molding of the two parts, which only appears discreetly in rare places. The original, very thick silvering has resisted time well, presenting only slight lacks on the reliefs of the bases as shown in the photos. The bases have been pierced on the sides, with a hole. No restoration. Probably French work from the beginning of the 18th century. Height: 245mm
Price: 2 500 €
Period: 18th century
Style: Louis 15th - Transition
