First edition. A compendium on the Parisian abbey, mother house of the Congregation of Saint-Maur to which Jacques Bouillart belonged. In the first part, he traces the history of the abbey since its foundation in the 6th century. He then gives a description of the church as it was at the beginning of the 18th century. The last part is the reproduction of a large set of supporting documents and annexes.
