"Pair Of Neo-classical Desk Columns In Bronze Marble And Soft Green Onyx From The 19th Century"
Beautiful curiosities that these columns with a shaft of soft green veined onyx mounted with a flange and capital in patinated bronze on a pedestal of milky gray marble from the Ardennes and facings of pinkish white veined marble. These two very elegant pieces and from the first half of the 19th century are very decorative in themselves and useful to enhance a decor or make an elegant enhancement to highlight a small object or statue which will thus be magnified. Made with care and beautiful proportions this pair of columns with entablature on pedestal have everything for them, colors, size and elegance, for a "Neo-classical" decor of good alloy. Moreover these pieces are in very good original condition (around 1840)
