Adrien Mathiss: Beautiful Set Of Three Glass And Sterling Silver Alcohol Decanters, St Louis XVI

Beautiful set of three liqueur decanters in glass and solid silver.

The body of the decanters is ovoid in shape with a flat bottom, wheel-cut with lines and channels.
The silver mount and the stopper are united with a torus of laurel leaves in the Louis XVI style.

The silver parts are hallmarked:
. Minerva 1st title before 1973 for 950/°° silver
. Goldsmith's hallmark difficult to read. Could be AM and two intertwined pipes for Adrien Mathiss active from 1911 to 1934.

Rare set of sober and elegant decanters.

23 cm high with the stopper

Between 400 and 465 grams each

Total weight: 1272 grams

Very good condition. Some scratches and small shocks from use. Small, non-serious crack in a collar, without loss, without play and without impact on the watertightness.
