"Louis XVI Style Lyra Clock"
Spectacular and large lyra-shaped clock in white Carrara marble with rich bronze ornamentation , finely chiseled and gilded (very beautiful gilding ),The white enamel dial with black enameled Arabic numerals and garlands of polychrome flowers.
This white marble lyre is topped with a radiant neoclassical mask from which escapes a bronze pendulum symbolizing the strings of a lyre, itself connected to a rhinestone string.
Louis XVI style, Napoleon III period, a French work circa 1860 - 1870.
The lyra clock is in working order.
