Object description :

"Kimono And Its Traditional Haori, Tsumugi In Silk On Silk, Japan Circa 1980, Never Used"
This is a set of a traditional Tsumugi tortoiseshell pattern kimono and haori circa 1980 and unworn:
This kimono is in unused condition with the basting thread still attached. Basting thread is a thread that is temporarily used to hold the kimono in shape during transportation and storage.
Please carefully remove the basting thread before wearing.
The lining of the haori features a beautiful pattern reminiscent of Japanese culture, such as decorative buildings and people.
This beautiful design is reminiscent of Gion festival floats and traditional events.
The attention to detail conveys the depth of Japanese culture.
Wearing this set will add color to special moments and allow you to fully experience the charm of Japan.
The Tsumugi kimono features a traditional tortoiseshell pattern and the smooth texture and luster of high-quality tsumugi woven from silk.
Silk is skin-friendly, soft and comfortable to wear, and the more you use it, the softer it becomes and the more comfortable it becomes to wear.
In addition, tsumugi is very durable, so you can use it for a long time, and the warm texture of the hand-woven fabric will wrap the wearer.
The simple but sophisticated tortoiseshell pattern creates an elegant and calm atmosphere and can be used in a wide range of situations, from daily use to special occasions.
The overall condition is very good. Please check the pictures.
