Akabeko, Traditional toys in hariko (paper mache) with movable heads (bubble head) representing cows. Crafts from the city of Aizu in the prefecture of Fukushima. Japan, circa 1960, 26 x 10 x 14 cm for the largest piece. Note on the photos, on the 2 smallest pieces the head attachment system was cut. In the meantime, this has been repaired and the heads are still movable.
