Beautiful kilim from Bergama / Balikesir in the North-West of Turkey. The main characteristic of this kilim is found in the exclusive use of two shades, deep blue and carmine red. Some patterns are highlighted with white cotton piping. The pattern that runs along the central field and seems to eat its tail is that of the dragon.
