Whatever the motivations of the author of this prose, written 372 years ago, it has reached us very fresh, having gone through countless adventures. My erudition does not allow me to read the text, even my "google" claims to recognize Goidelic... for a few words however. Having no Scottish, Viking or Breton friends, my research will stop there. I prefer to imagine a scholar, passionate, writing with his beautiful pen to his chosen one... but let's leave them this intimacy... The fold measures 15x19.5cm
