Charming Louis XV Rocaille style cabriolet armchair in solid walnut, from the end of the 19th century, early 1900. This amusing seat rests on four arched legs finished with snail-shaped scrolls. The belt crosspiece is richly carved and decorated with a beautiful asymmetrical rocaille motif. The shield-shaped backrest is also richly carved with a second asymmetrical and openwork motif. The upholstery is in very good condition, it is firm and very comfortable, the covering fabric is an old gold-colored velvet, the whole having been redone a few years ago.
