Important terracotta on a pedestal dating from the first half of the 19th century.
It is a very fine terracotta that represents two shepherdesses looking at a couple of doves kissing.
The attitude of the two young women is captured in the natural.
The 18th century costumes are magnificently rendered and include many details, such as the wide open bodices revealing the birth of the young girls' chests, the petticoats and the sleeves all in very structured pleats. The bonnets highlighting the finesse of the faces.
