"Roger Bal's Madré Birch Cabinet"
Beautiful wardrobe by the decorator Roger Bal 16 rue de Sèvres in Paris 7th. This interior decorator has been active since the 1920s and this wardrobe is probably a production of the 1970s. This piece of furniture is made of Karelian curly birch, a robust tree that grows mainly on the border between Finland and Russia. The wood has a very unique appearance of swirling patterns with beautiful shades of light and dark brown. Due to its rarity and the difficulty in obtaining it, curly birch is expensive and reserved for high quality products. This wardrobe opens with two doors.
