Oil on panel depicting Saint John the Baptist and the Agnus Dei, probably inspired by a print deriving from the most famous work of the same name by Giambattista Piazzetta located in Bassano del Grappa. Signed lower right "Verelst". The Verelst family includes various painters of Flemish origin, who later moved to London, active from the mid-1600s to the mid-1700s. This work is probably the work of one of the Verelst sons.
